Managed Detection & Response (MDR) in UAE
What Is Managed Detection & Response?
Managed detection and response (MDR) is a 24/7 service that combines security technology with expert analysts to detect, investigate and respond to threats on your behalf. Unlike traditional monitoring that only raises alerts, MDR includes proactive threat hunting and hands-on containment such as isolating devices, disabling accounts and blocking attacker infrastructure.
For UAE organisations, MDR is the fastest route to meeting NESA/UAE IA, DESC ISR, CBUAE and ADHICS monitoring and response requirements, and to cutting the dwell time attackers need to steal data or deploy ransomware.
Our MDR service runs on Microsoft Defender XDR and Sentinel or on your existing EDR and SIEM platforms, operated by analysts in Dubai.
Detection Challenges We Solve
No one watching after hours
Most ransomware deployments start at night or at weekends when internal teams are offline.
Alerts without investigation
EDR and SIEM alerts pile up unreviewed, so real intrusions blend into noise.
Skills shortage
Hiring and retaining SOC analysts and threat hunters in the UAE is slow and expensive.
Slow containment
Hours pass between detection and action while attackers move laterally.
Proving compliance
Regulators want evidence of continuous monitoring and documented incident response.

MDR UAE FAQs
What is the difference between MDR and a managed SIEM?
A managed SIEM collects logs and raises alerts for your team to handle. MDR adds analysts who investigate, hunt and actively respond, including containment actions. Many clients combine both: SIEM for compliance breadth and MDR for fast response.
Which platforms does your MDR support?
Microsoft Defender XDR and Sentinel, CrowdStrike Falcon, SentinelOne Singularity, Palo Alto Cortex XDR, Splunk and QRadar, plus firewall, identity, email and cloud telemetry from major vendors.
What are your response SLAs?
Critical alerts are triaged within 15 minutes and containment actions start within agreed SLAs, typically under one hour for critical incidents. Exact SLAs are defined in your service agreement.
Will you take actions in our environment without asking?
Only within the response authority you pre-approve during onboarding, for example isolating a device showing ransomware behaviour. Anything outside that scope is escalated to your named contacts first.
How long does MDR onboarding take?
Most clients are fully onboarded within two to four weeks, depending on the number of data sources and whether new agents need to be deployed.
Does MDR help with NESA or CBUAE compliance?
Yes. MDR provides the continuous monitoring, incident detection, response records and reporting that NESA/UAE IA, DESC ISR, CBUAE and ADHICS require, and we provide audit-ready evidence packs.
