Managed SIEM Services in UAE
A SIEM is only as good as the logs feeding it and the detections running on it. Most underperform because nobody owns the ongoing work — new log sources, new rules, licence costs climbing while coverage stands still.
We operate your SIEM as a managed service: onboarding, detection engineering, tuning and cost control.
What Is Managed SIEM?
Managed SIEM is the ongoing operation of your security information and event management platform by an external team — covering log source onboarding, parsing, detection engineering, rule tuning, retention management, health monitoring and compliance reporting.
Three things go wrong with SIEM deployments. Log coverage stalls after the initial project, so critical sources never get onboarded. Detections stay close to vendor defaults, producing noise instead of findings. And ingestion grows unchecked until the licence bill forces a panic about what to stop collecting.
Managed SIEM treats all three as continuous work. Coverage is tracked against a target, detections are written and tested against your environment, and ingestion is tuned so you pay to store telemetry that actually earns its place.
We operate Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, Elastic and the other major platforms, and can run the service with or without our managed SOC on top.
SIEM Problems We Fix
Incomplete Log Coverage
Firewalls and servers get onboarded; identity, SaaS, OT and cloud control planes often never do — leaving the gaps attackers use.
Default Detection Rules
Out-of-the-box content generates volume rather than value, and nobody has mapped what it actually covers.
Runaway Ingestion Cost
Verbose, low-value sources consume licence capacity while the useful telemetry gets dropped to save money.
Broken Parsers
A vendor update changes a log format, parsing silently fails, and the detections built on it stop firing with no alarm.
Retention & Audit Gaps
Log retention does not meet NESA, ADHICS or CBUAE requirements, and nobody discovers it until the audit.
What the Service Includes
Log Source Onboarding
Prioritised onboarding of new sources with parsing, normalisation and validation that the data is actually usable.
Detection Engineering
Custom detection content built and tested for your environment, mapped to MITRE ATT&CK coverage targets.
Continuous Tuning
Rule thresholds, allowlists and suppression maintained as your estate changes, keeping false positives under control.
Platform Health Monitoring
Monitoring of ingestion, parsing failures, agent health and rule execution — so silent failures surface immediately.
Cost & Capacity Optimisation
Ingestion review, tiering and filtering to control licence spend without losing detection value.
Compliance Reporting
Retention validation and scheduled reporting aligned to NESA, DESC ISR, ADHICS, CBUAE and PDPL requirements.
Our Delivery Process
1. Platform Review
We assess current log coverage, detection content, parsing health, retention settings and ingestion cost.
2. Coverage Roadmap
A prioritised onboarding and detection plan, sequenced by risk rather than by whichever source is easiest.
3. Build & Tune
Sources onboarded, detections written, thresholds tuned and noise suppressed through an active tuning period.
4. Operate
Steady-state operation with health monitoring, change management and ongoing detection development.
5. Review
Monthly service reporting and quarterly coverage reviews, including ingestion cost and retention compliance.
Why Cybersecurity MEA for Managed SIEM
We write detections, not tickets. Our engineers build and test content against your environment, and we report coverage against MITRE ATT&CK so you can see what the platform would and would not catch.
Because we also deploy and optimise SIEM platforms as projects, we take over environments that were never finished properly — and fix them rather than working around them.
For Microsoft estates, the service pairs naturally with Sentinel and Defender XDR, where we manage data connectors, analytics rules, workbooks and automation playbooks together.

Managed SIEM FAQs
What is managed SIEM?
Managed SIEM is the ongoing operation of your SIEM platform by an external team, covering log source onboarding, parsing, detection engineering, rule tuning, health monitoring, retention management and compliance reporting — the continuous work a deployment project does not cover.
Which SIEM platforms do you manage?
Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, IBM QRadar, Elastic Security and other major platforms. For UAE clients already invested in Microsoft 365 E5, Sentinel is usually the most cost-effective option, but we operate whichever platform you own.
Can managed SIEM reduce our licence costs?
Frequently, yes. Most environments ingest high-volume, low-value sources that contribute nothing to detection. Ingestion review, filtering and tiering commonly cut consumption meaningfully while improving detection coverage, because capacity is redirected to telemetry that matters.
Do we need managed SOC as well?
Not necessarily. Managed SIEM keeps the platform and detections healthy; managed SOC provides the analysts who act on what fires. If your team can respond during business hours and you only need the platform run properly, managed SIEM alone is a valid scope.
How long does log retention need to be for UAE compliance?
It depends on your sector and framework. NESA, DESC ISR, ADHICS and CBUAE guidance each set expectations, and PDPL adds considerations for personal data in logs. We validate your current configuration against the frameworks that apply to you and correct the gaps.
What if our SIEM was badly implemented?
That is a common starting point. We assess what exists, keep what works, and rebuild parsing, detection content and architecture where needed — usually in phases, so coverage improves continuously rather than waiting for a full rebuild.
