Managed Security Services in UAE
Security tooling is easy to buy and hard to run. Most UAE organisations do not need another platform — they need someone watching it at 3am, tuning it every week and answering for it every month.
Cybersecurity MEA runs security operations as a managed service: 24/7 monitoring, defined SLAs, named analysts and reporting your auditors accept.
What Are Managed Security Services?
Managed security services are the ongoing operation of your security controls by an external provider under a contracted service level — covering monitoring, detection, response, administration, tuning and reporting across your SOC, SIEM, endpoint, network, email, cloud and identity platforms.
The distinction that matters is operational, not technical. A project delivers a capability; a managed service keeps it working. Rules get tuned as your environment changes, alerts get triaged by people rather than queued, patches and policy updates happen on schedule, and someone is accountable when something is missed.
We operate in three models: fully managed, where we run the platform end to end; co-managed, where your team keeps control and we extend coverage; and augmented, where we fill specific gaps such as overnight and weekend monitoring.
All of it is delivered from the UAE, in your time zone, with reporting mapped to NESA, DESC ISR, ADHICS, CBUAE and PDPL obligations.
Why Organisations Move to an MSSP
No Overnight Coverage
In-house teams work business hours. Attackers prefer weekends and the small hours precisely because nobody is watching.
Analyst Hiring & Retention
Experienced SOC analysts are scarce and expensive across the UAE, and a resignation can halve your capability overnight.
Tooling Bought, Not Run
Expensive platforms sit in default configuration, generating noise nobody triages and missing the detections you paid for.
Alert Fatigue
Thousands of low-value alerts bury the handful that matter, and analyst attention degrades long before the backlog clears.
Audit & Reporting Pressure
Regulators and clients want evidence that monitoring operates continuously — not a screenshot from the last assessment.
Our Managed Security Services
Managed SOC (Tier 1–3)
24/7 monitoring, triage, investigation and escalation by a tiered analyst team with defined response SLAs.
Managed SIEM
Platform operation, log onboarding, detection engineering and continuous tuning so your SIEM earns its licence cost.
Managed EDR / XDR
Endpoint and extended detection operated for you — policy management, threat hunting and remote containment.
Managed Firewall Security
Firewall and network security administration, rule hygiene, change control and performance monitoring.
Managed Email Security
Gateway operation, phishing triage, quarantine review and ongoing policy tuning against live campaigns.
Managed Cloud Security
Continuous posture, workload and identity monitoring across Azure, AWS, Google Cloud and hybrid estates.
Managed IAM / PAM
Day-to-day identity and privileged access operations — joiner-mover-leaver, access reviews and vault administration.
Managed Threat Intelligence
Curated, sector-relevant intelligence operationalised into your detection and blocking controls.
Managed Vulnerability Scanning
Scheduled authenticated scanning, validated findings and remediation tracking across your estate.
Security Reporting & Analytics
Monthly service and risk reporting, KPI/KRI dashboards and board-ready metrics mapped to UAE frameworks.
How Onboarding Works
1. Discovery & Scoping
We assess your estate, existing tooling, log sources and coverage gaps, then agree scope, model and service levels.
2. Transition Plan
A phased plan with named owners, so coverage starts on critical systems within weeks rather than after a six-month programme.
3. Onboarding & Baselining
Log sources connected, agents validated, detections deployed and tuned against your environment’s normal behaviour.
4. Service Go-Live
Monitoring runs to SLA with agreed escalation paths, runbooks and contact trees tested before handover completes.
5. Continuous Improvement
Monthly service reviews, quarterly detection coverage assessments and ongoing tuning as your estate changes.
Why Cybersecurity MEA as Your MSSP
We are a UAE-based security consultancy that also operates services — not a ticket mill. The engineers who design your architecture are the ones whose detections our analysts run, which is why our alerts come with context rather than a severity label.
Services are vendor-pragmatic. We operate Microsoft Sentinel and Defender, and the other major SIEM, EDR, firewall and cloud platforms, so you are not forced to re-platform to get coverage.
Where a managed service surfaces something deeper, the specialists are in the same firm: incident response for a confirmed breach, penetration testing to validate exposure, and GRC advisory when the finding is a control gap rather than an attack.
Related Security Services
Managed services sit alongside our project and advisory work:
- Cyber Resilience & Operations — MDR, SOC advisory, DFIR and ransomware response.
- Cyber Solutions & Delivery — deployment projects for the platforms we then operate.
- Cloud Security Services — posture assessment, architecture and CSPM.
- Microsoft Security Solutions — Sentinel, Defender XDR, Entra ID and Purview.
- Cyber Test & Evaluation — penetration testing, red teaming and phishing simulation.
- Digital Risk Protection — brand, credential, dark web and attack surface monitoring.
Managed Security Services FAQs
What are managed security services?
Managed security services are the ongoing operation of your security controls by an external provider under contracted service levels — covering monitoring, detection, response, administration, tuning and reporting across SOC, SIEM, endpoint, network, email, cloud and identity platforms.
What is the difference between an MSSP and MDR?
MDR is a focused service built around detection and response on a provider’s own stack. An MSSP operates a broader set of controls — firewalls, email gateways, identity, vulnerability scanning — often on the platforms you already own. Many UAE organisations use MDR for detection and an MSSP for everything else; we deliver both.
Do we have to replace our existing security tools?
No. We operate the major SIEM, EDR, firewall, email and cloud security platforms, including Microsoft Sentinel and Defender. If a tool genuinely cannot deliver the outcome you need we will say so, but re-platforming is never the default recommendation.
How quickly can monitoring go live?
Critical log sources and endpoints are typically under monitoring within two to four weeks. Full onboarding across a complex estate takes longer, so we phase it — highest-risk systems first, rather than waiting for complete coverage before anything is watched.
What service levels do you offer?
Response SLAs are set by alert severity and agreed in the service definition — typically minutes for critical detections and hours for lower severities, with 24/7 coverage. SLAs are measured and reported monthly, including any breaches.
Will managed services help with NESA or ADHICS compliance?
Yes. Continuous monitoring, log retention, vulnerability management and documented incident handling are explicit control requirements in NESA, DESC ISR and ADHICS. Our monthly reporting is structured as the evidence auditors ask for, not just operational statistics.
