Cyber Test & Evaluation in UAE
What Is Cyber Test & Evaluation?
Cyber test and evaluation is the practice of deliberately attacking your own systems, applications and people under controlled conditions to discover exploitable weaknesses before criminals do. It spans vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT), adversary simulation such as red and purple teaming, source code review and social engineering exercises.
UAE regulators expect it. NESA/UAE IA, Dubai DESC ISR, ADHICS, CBUAE and PCI DSS all require regular penetration testing and remediation of findings, and enterprise customers increasingly ask for a recent test report before signing contracts.
Our testers hold OSCP, OSWE, CREST and GPEN credentials and deliver manual, exploit-driven testing rather than scanner output, with reports written for both engineers and executives.
Testing Challenges We Solve
Scan reports mistaken for pen tests
Automated scans miss business logic flaws, chained exploits and authentication bypasses that real attackers use.
Untested new applications
Web and mobile apps go live without security testing because release deadlines come first.
Unknown real-world exposure
Nobody has tested whether an attacker could get from a phishing email to domain admin.
Compliance deadlines
NESA, DESC ISR, CBUAE and PCI DSS audits require current test reports and evidence of remediation.
Findings that never get fixed
Reports are delivered, filed and forgotten with no retest or ownership.

Why Choose Skytech for Security Testing in the UAE?
Skytech Cyber Cloud’s offensive security team holds OSCP, OSWE, OSEP, CREST and GPEN certifications and tests for banks, government entities, healthcare providers, energy companies, fintechs and enterprises across the UAE, GCC and MEA. We follow OWASP, PTES, NIST SP 800-115 and CREST methodologies.
- Manual, exploit-driven testing: real attack chains, not scanner output with a logo on it.
- Reports people act on: executive summary, risk ratings, proof of concept and step-by-step fixes.
- Free retesting: we verify your remediation and update the report at no extra cost.
- Compliance-ready: evidence formatted for NESA/UAE IA, DESC ISR, ADHICS, CBUAE, PCI DSS and ISO 27001 auditors.
We test for organisations in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, as well as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait and the wider Middle East and Africa.

Penetration Testing FAQs
What is the difference between a vulnerability scan and a penetration test?
A vulnerability scan is automated and lists known weaknesses. A penetration test adds expert manual work: validating findings, chaining several weaknesses together, bypassing controls and demonstrating real business impact. Regulators such as PCI DSS require both, with scans quarterly and penetration tests at least annually.
How often should we perform penetration testing in the UAE?
At least annually, and after significant changes to applications or infrastructure. PCI DSS requires annual testing plus testing after major changes, and NESA/UAE IA, DESC ISR and CBUAE expect regular testing of critical systems. Fast-moving development teams often test each major release.
How much does a penetration test cost in Dubai?
Cost depends on scope: the number of applications, IP ranges, user roles and the depth of testing. A single web application test is typically a fixed-price engagement of several days, while red team exercises run over weeks. We scope and quote after a short discovery call.
Will testing disrupt our production systems?
No. We agree rules of engagement, testing windows and safety limits in advance, avoid denial-of-service techniques unless explicitly requested, and maintain an escalation contact throughout so any issue is handled immediately.
Do you provide retesting after we fix the findings?
Yes. Retesting of remediated findings is included, and we issue an updated report and attestation letter suitable for auditors, customers and insurers.
Can you provide an attestation letter for our customers or regulator?
Yes. Alongside the technical report we provide an executive summary and a signed attestation letter confirming the scope, dates and outcome of testing, which is commonly required in UAE tenders and vendor due diligence.
