Managed IAM & PAM in UAE
Identity platforms fail in the day-to-day, not the design. Leavers keep access for months, access reviews get rubber-stamped, and the break-glass account password has not changed since go-live.
We run identity and privileged access operations for you — provisioning, reviews, vault administration and the evidence your auditors want.
What Is Managed IAM & PAM?
Managed IAM and PAM is the ongoing operation of your identity and privileged access platforms — covering joiner-mover-leaver provisioning, role and entitlement administration, periodic access certification, privileged vault and credential rotation management, session monitoring, and the audit evidence that proves all of it happened.
Identity is now the primary control plane. Most intrusions involve a valid credential at some point, and most audit findings in the UAE concern access that should have been removed, reviewed or restricted.
The work is unglamorous and unrelenting: thousands of small changes, each one low risk alone and dangerous in aggregate. It is also exactly the work that gets deprioritised when an in-house team is firefighting.
We operate Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, CyberArk, Delinea, BeyondTrust and other platforms, in fully managed or co-managed models.
Identity Problems We Solve
Orphaned Accounts
Leavers and ended contractors retaining active accounts and tokens long after their last day.
Privilege Creep
Movers accumulating access with every role change, because nothing is ever removed when something is added.
Rubber-Stamped Reviews
Access certification campaigns approved in bulk without review, producing audit evidence that means nothing.
Unmanaged Privileged Accounts
Shared admin and service account credentials outside the vault, with static passwords and no session recording.
Unrotated Break-Glass
Emergency accounts with credentials unchanged since deployment, untested and often undocumented.
What the Service Includes
Joiner-Mover-Leaver Operations
Provisioning, role changes and timely deprovisioning executed to SLA with full audit trail.
Entitlement Administration
Role, group and entitlement management, including app onboarding into your identity platform.
Access Certification
Managed review campaigns with reviewer chasing, exception handling and evidence packaging.
Privileged Vault Management
Vault administration, credential onboarding, rotation policy enforcement and break-glass testing.
Session Monitoring
Monitoring and review of privileged session recordings, with alerting on high-risk activity.
Identity Risk Reporting
Monthly reporting on orphaned accounts, privilege creep, MFA coverage, stale access and certification status.
Our Delivery Process
1. Identity Assessment
We baseline accounts, privileged credentials, MFA coverage, stale access and existing review practice.
2. Cleanup Campaign
Orphaned accounts closed, dormant access removed and unmanaged privileged credentials brought into the vault.
3. Process Definition
Joiner-mover-leaver workflows, approval routes and SLAs documented and agreed with HR and IT.
4. Operate
Day-to-day identity and privileged access operations, certification campaigns and vault administration.
5. Review & Harden
Monthly risk reporting driving continued least-privilege work and automation of manual steps.
Why Cybersecurity MEA for Managed Identity
We start with cleanup, not just operations. Taking over identity administration without first closing orphaned accounts and vaulting stray privileged credentials simply industrialises an existing problem.
Design and operations stay connected. Our IAM and PAM engineering teams built many of the environments we run, and for Microsoft estates we operate Entra ID conditional access and PIM directly.
Identity findings also feed detection: compromised credentials surfaced by credential leak monitoring trigger resets and session revocation inside this service, same day.

Managed IAM & PAM FAQs
What is managed IAM?
Managed IAM is the ongoing operation of your identity platform — joiner-mover-leaver provisioning, role and entitlement administration, access certification campaigns and identity risk reporting — delivered to agreed service levels with a complete audit trail.
What is the difference between IAM and PAM?
IAM governs access for all users across all applications. PAM focuses specifically on privileged accounts — administrators, service accounts, break-glass credentials — adding vaulting, credential rotation, just-in-time elevation and session recording. PAM protects the accounts that matter most.
How quickly are leavers deprovisioned?
To the SLA agreed with you, typically the same business day on notification and immediately for security-sensitive departures. The dependency is usually the HR notification trigger, which is why we document that handoff during onboarding rather than assuming it works.
Can you make access reviews meaningful rather than rubber-stamped?
Yes. We give reviewers context — what the access permits, when it was last used, how it compares to peers — and chase non-responders rather than auto-approving. Unused access is flagged for removal by default, which shifts the burden to justifying retention.
Which identity platforms do you manage?
Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Ping and other IAM platforms, plus CyberArk, Delinea and BeyondTrust for privileged access. We also operate on-premises Active Directory alongside cloud identity in hybrid estates.
How does this support UAE audit requirements?
NESA, DESC ISR, ADHICS and CBUAE all require access control, periodic review and privileged access restriction. The service produces continuous evidence — provisioning records, certification results, vault compliance and privileged session logs — in the form auditors ask for.
