Multi-Cloud & Hybrid Cloud Security in UAE
What Is Multi-Cloud & Hybrid Security?
Multi-cloud and hybrid security is the practice of applying one coherent security model across several cloud providers plus private and on-premises infrastructure. It covers unified identity and privileged access, consistent policy and guardrails, connectivity and segmentation between environments, centralised logging and detection, and one view of posture and compliance.
Without it, each platform develops its own standards, tooling and blind spots, and attackers exploit the seams — pivoting from on-premises Active Directory into Entra ID, or from a development AWS account into shared production services.
Hybrid is the normal state for regulated UAE organisations that must keep some data on-premises or in-country while modernising elsewhere.
Multi-Cloud Challenges We Solve
Inconsistent security standards
Each platform configured by a different team to a different baseline, with no common policy.
Fragmented visibility
Separate consoles for each provider mean no single view of posture, identity risk or threats.
Identity seams
On-premises Active Directory, Entra ID and AWS IAM linked by trusts nobody has fully mapped.
Uncontrolled connectivity
VPNs, peering and direct connections added over time creating implicit trust between environments.
Duplicated tooling and cost
Several overlapping security products bought per platform, each partially deployed.
Our Multi-Cloud Security Services
Unified Security Architecture
One target security model spanning Azure, AWS, private cloud and on-premises.
Federated Identity & Privileged Access
Consistent identity, SSO, conditional access and PAM across every environment.
Cross-Environment Segmentation
Controlled connectivity and segmentation between cloud, data centre and OT networks.
Unified Policy & Guardrails
Policy as code applied consistently through Azure Policy, AWS SCPs and Terraform modules.
Centralised Logging & Detection
All environments feeding one SIEM and XDR with correlated cross-platform detections.
Multi-Cloud Posture Management
Single-pane CSPM covering every provider with normalised risk scoring.
Hybrid Attack Path Analysis
Map and close the routes attackers use to pivot between on-premises and cloud.
Tool Rationalisation
Consolidate overlapping security products across platforms to cut cost and close gaps.
Our Multi-Cloud Approach
1. Map
Inventory every environment, identity path, connection and security tool in use.
2. Standardise
Define one control baseline and policy set that applies regardless of platform.
3. Unify
Implement federated identity, centralised logging and single-pane posture management.
4. Operate
One monitoring and governance model across the whole estate.
Why Choose Skytech for Multi-Cloud Security?
Skytech Cyber Cloud works across Microsoft, AWS and on-premises environments daily, including hybrid estates with legacy data centres and OT. We help banks, government entities, telecoms and enterprises in the UAE and GCC bring scattered platforms under one security model.
- Platform-agnostic baseline: one control set, implemented natively in each environment.
- Identity-centric: the seams between directories are where we focus first.
- Residency-compatible: designs that keep regulated data where UAE rules require it.
- Cost-aware: consolidation of duplicated tooling funds the gaps that matter.

Multi-Cloud Security FAQs
Is multi-cloud less secure than single cloud?
Not inherently, but it is harder. Each platform has different controls, terminology and defaults, which multiplies the chance of inconsistency and blind spots. Multi-cloud is secure when one baseline is defined centrally and implemented natively in each environment.
Should we use native tools or a single cross-platform product?
A pragmatic mix usually wins: native tools for depth and cost efficiency within each platform, plus a cross-platform layer for unified posture, identity risk and detection. We evaluate based on your estate rather than defaulting to either.
What is the biggest hybrid risk?
Identity. The trust between on-premises Active Directory and cloud directories is the most common pivot path: compromise an on-premises server, harvest credentials, then move into cloud with legitimate tokens. Hardening that seam is our first priority.
Can you keep regulated data on-premises while modernising?
Yes. We design hybrid architectures that keep regulated data in approved locations while running processing, analytics and applications in cloud, with controlled, documented data flows that satisfy PDPL, CBUAE and NESA requirements.
How long does a multi-cloud security programme take?
An assessment and unified architecture design takes 6 to 10 weeks. Implementation is phased, typically 6 to 12 months depending on the number of environments and the state of identity.
Do you cover private cloud and VMware?
Yes. Our hybrid work regularly includes VMware, Nutanix and traditional data centre infrastructure alongside public cloud and OT environments.
