Microsoft Intune (MDM) Services in UAE
What Is Microsoft Intune?
Microsoft Intune is a cloud-based endpoint management service covering mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM). It enrols and configures Windows, macOS, iOS and Android devices, enforces compliance policies, deploys applications and updates, and protects corporate data on personal devices without managing the whole device.
Its security value comes from the link to Entra ID: a device marked non-compliant can be blocked from corporate data automatically through conditional access, which turns device posture into an access decision.
For UAE organisations with hybrid workforces, contractors and BYOD, Intune is also how PDPL and sector obligations around data on mobile devices are met in practice.
Device Challenges We Solve
Unmanaged devices reaching data
Personal laptops and phones access corporate mail and files with no compliance check at all.
Slow, manual device provisioning
IT builds every machine by hand instead of shipping Autopilot devices directly to users.
BYOD privacy concerns
Staff resist full device enrolment, so personal devices stay completely unprotected.
Patch and update drift
No enforced update rings, leaving endpoints months behind on security updates.
Co-management confusion
Legacy SCCM and Intune both present with unclear workload ownership and conflicting policies.
Our Intune Services
Intune Design & Deployment
Tenant configuration, enrolment methods, group strategy and role-based administration.

Zero-touch provisioning so devices ship directly to users and configure themselves on first boot.
Compliance Policies & Conditional Access
Device health requirements enforced as a condition of accessing corporate data.
Security Baselines & Hardening
Microsoft and CIS security baselines deployed and monitored for drift across platforms.
App Protection for BYOD
Protect corporate data inside apps on personal devices without enrolling the whole device.

iOS, Android and macOS enrolment, configuration profiles, certificates and app deployment.
Update Rings & Patch Management
Staged Windows and driver update deployment with reporting and rollback control.
SCCM Co-Management & Migration
Workload migration from Configuration Manager to Intune at your own pace.
Our Intune Approach
1. Design
Enrolment strategy, group model, policy set and platform scope agreed up front.
2. Pilot
Deploy to a pilot group, validate policies and user experience before wider rollout.
3. Roll Out
Staged enrolment by department with support materials and user communications.
4. Operate
Compliance reporting, policy maintenance and ongoing device lifecycle management.
Why Choose Skytech for Intune in the UAE?
Skytech Cyber Cloud’s endpoint engineers hold MD-102, MS-500 and SC-300 certifications and have deployed Intune for organisations with mixed Windows, macOS, iOS and Android fleets across the UAE and GCC, including heavily regulated and BYOD-dominant environments.
- Security-led: Intune designed as the device signal for conditional access, not just software deployment.
- BYOD without intrusion: app protection policies that secure data while respecting personal device privacy.
- Migration-friendly: co-management experience for organisations moving away from SCCM gradually.
- Adoption-aware: communications and support materials so enrolment does not generate a helpdesk flood.

Microsoft Intune FAQs
Do we need to enrol personal devices to protect company data?
No. App protection policies, also called MAM without enrolment, secure corporate data inside Microsoft 365 apps on personal devices — encryption, copy-paste restrictions and selective wipe — without managing the device or seeing personal content. This is the usual approach for BYOD.
Which platforms does Intune support?
Windows 10 and 11, macOS, iOS and iPadOS, Android Enterprise and Linux for a subset of features. Capability varies by platform and we set expectations during design.
What is Windows Autopilot?
A provisioning service that lets a device be shipped directly from the vendor to the user. On first boot it registers with your tenant and configures itself with your policies, applications and security settings, with no IT imaging required.
Can we keep SCCM and use Intune together?
Yes. Co-management runs both, letting you move workloads such as compliance, updates and application deployment to Intune individually at your own pace rather than migrating all at once.
How long does an Intune deployment take?
Design and pilot typically take 3 to 4 weeks. Full rollout across a mid-sized organisation usually runs 6 to 12 weeks depending on device count, platform mix and whether SCCM migration is involved.
Can you wipe only company data from a lost personal phone?
Yes. Selective wipe removes corporate accounts, data and app content while leaving personal photos, messages and apps untouched, which is both a privacy and a PDPL-friendly outcome.
